The 2011 Silver Slipper Stakes will take place at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse on February 26 as one of the first Group features of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

A set weights race for two-year-old horses run over 1100m, the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes is worth $200,000 in prize money this year and is one of the traditional lead-up races for juveniles heading towards the prestigious $3.5 million Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) run at Rosehill on April 2, 2011.
